Time is flying by! I can't believe Ruby is 3 weeks old already! She is starting to look more like herself and less like 'nondescript baby'. She is gaining weight slowly and seems to have gotten longer this past week. Luckily her feet haven't grown, those suckers are huge!Ruby's Grandma and Grandpa leave for Florida this weekend and she won't see them again until around Christmas. It was good that they could be here for the first few weeks of her life, getting to know her and also helping us out with things around the house. Luckily we will be able to keep them up to date on everything Ruby using our webcam! Technology isn't too bad sometimes!
Being a mom is hard work, but i am really enjoying myself. Luckily i will get to be a stay at home mom for a while, quite possibly the best job in the world!

In an episode of "Little House on the Prairie" the mom said to one of her daughters that she thought about being a teacher and a nurse, but as a mother she could be both! The important factor is the the choice is yours as to what you will do with your life. No one can choose it for you! Enjoy your choices, what ever they may be!

Being a mom is totally the best job in the world. :-) Ruby is looking more and more like her mama, that's for sure. She has loooong fingers! Did you get footprints? Nick's feet were a full three inches long when he was born! The whole hand and foot print thing seemed kind of silly at first, but now I love to look at them and say, "Look how small they are!!". heh.
